I’ve posted about Nick Onken and his photography excellence before. This new personal series of his was shot one day at the Mojave Salt Flats. He consistently wows me with the ways he uses light.
I took some engagement photos for my friend Nick and his fiance Kirsten last weekend around Boulder. They were good sports and it was a lot of fun. We did some of the more “traditional” engagement stuff, but also tried to have some fun. You can see my favs from the shoot on flickr.

Literally months after the shoot I got around to finishing up the post-processing for The Heyday – at the time we were so busy with the album artwork that we just picked one photo to spend time on – it’s nice to have these done – i like them, but I would of course do things differently a second time around
